Donbei's uniquely chewy and smooth udon noodles are paired with a rich broth made with bonito and kelp specifically for the East Japan market. The soup is flavorful with soy sauce and an umami depth. The large, fluffy "juicy abura-age" (fried tofu pouch) is a highlight of this cup-style kitsune udon. The included "colorful shichimi," which contains red pepper for a spicy kick, enhances the soy sauce flavor.
